1. What is Laser Hair Therapy (LHT)?

LHT is the use of cold lasers that induce blood flow to the top of the scalp which in turn creates positve and healthy hair growth.

2. What are "cold lasers" and are they safe to use?

Cold lasers are infrared lasers that do not have a thermal component so they will NOT vaporize or burn tissue. Our lasers are considered a class 3 cosmetic devise and are rendered safe for topical use by the FDA.

3. What are the benefits of LHT?

• Increase in blood flow to the top of the scalp by up to 55% which in turn increases hair growth in follicle still capable of producing hair.
• Stops hair loss in 85% of patients Regulation of sebatious gland activity, for people with overly dry or oily scalps.
• Repairs damaged hair shafts Increases thickness of individual hairs by up 25% per hair providing much thicker and fuller appearance
• Relieves irrated itchy scalp conditions
• Decreases recovery time when used in conjuction with hair transplants

4. How do these "cold lasers" stop hair loss and regrow lost hair?

Since hair growth depends so heavily on proper blood flow, LHT's increase in blood flow induces the follicle to produce a healthy good looking hair. Our program focuses and defends against the main known causes of hair loss such as, insufficient blood supply at the scalp level, improper nutritional intake, controls excessive levels of DHT, and breaks down oil deposits on the scalp that will eventully lead to hair loss.

5. How long have lasers been used for hair regrowth?

Apollo has used lasers for 15 - 20 years to assist in stopping hair loss. However, as with any technology, over the past 4 years we have improved the the results of LHT significantly. In February '07 certain lasers were approved by the FDA to stop hair loss and regrow lost hair!
